You will see the libraries named 'Capicom.dll' and 'Interop.CAPICOM.dll' in the window that opens up. These are the libraries you need to install. Drag these libraries to the desktop with your mouse's left button.
  2. Copy the 'Capicom.dll' and the 'Interop.CAPICOM.dll' libraries file you extracted.
  3. Paste the dynamic link libraries you copied into the 'C:WindowsSystem32' directory.
  4. If your system is 64 Bit, copy the 'Capicom.dll' and the 'Interop.CAPICOM.dll' libraries and paste them into 'C:WindowssysWOW64' directory.
    NOTE! On 64 Bit systems, you must copy the dynamic link libraries to both the 'sysWOW64' and 'System32' directories. In other words, both directories need the 'Capicom.dll' and the 'Interop.CAPICOM.dll' libraries.
  5. In order to complete this step, you must run the Command Prompt as administrator. In order to do this, all you have to do is follow the steps below.
    NOTE! We ran the Command Prompt using Windows 10. If you are using Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP, you can use the same method to run the Command Prompt as administrator.
    1. Open the Start Menu and before clicking anywhere, type 'cmd' on your keyboard. This process will enable you to run a search through the Start Menu. We also typed in 'cmd' to bring up the Command Prompt.
    2. Right-click the 'Command Prompt' search result that comes up and click the Run as administrator' option.
  6. Paste the commands below into the Command Line that will open up and hit Enter. These commands will delete the damaged registries of the Capicom.dll and the Interop.CAPICOM.dll libraries (These commands will not delete the files we pasted into the System32 directory; these commands will delete the registries in Regedit. The files we pasted into the System32 directory will not be damaged).

  7. If you have a 64 Bit operating system, after running the commands above, you must run the commands below. These commands will clean the damaged registries of the Capicom.dll and the Interop.CAPICOM.dll libraries in 64 Bit as well (The cleaning process will be in the registries in the Registry Editor only. In other words, the dll files you paste into the SysWoW64 folder will stay as it).

  8. In order to cleanly recreate the registries of the dll libraries that we deleted, copy the commands below and paste them into the Command Line and hit Enter.

  9. If you are using a Windows with 64 Bit architecture, after running the previous commands, you need to run the commands below. By running this commands, we will have created clean registries for the Capicom.dll and the Interop.CAPICOM.dll libraries (We deleted the damaged registries with the previous command).

  10. If you did all the processes correctly, the missing dll files will have been installed. You may have made some errors when running the Command Line processes. Generally, these errors will not prevent the Capicom.dll and the Interop.CAPICOM.dll libraries from being installed. In other words, the installation will be completed, but it may give an error due to some incompatibility issues. Digital Signatures

This option defines which tools are used by Advanced Installer to digitally sign the setup packages.

Advanced Installer will use by default an internal signtool.exe binary with all the necessary dependencies from the latest Windows 10 SDK (version 10.0.19041.0 or newer).

You can also manually select a custom path of SignTool. Only SignTool with version equal or greater than 10.0.1 is supported. If a path of an older version of SignTool.exe is selected, the path will not be saved and the default path will be used.

On Windows 8.1 and earlier operating systems, Signtool.exe requires Update for Universal C Runtime in Windows to be installed on the build machine.

Specify the full path to VsixSignTool.exe after you install it with NuGet. This tool is used to sign VSIX packages.
